Long term care includes a variety of services to help meet both the medical and non-medical needs of people with a chronic illness or disability who cannot care for themselves for extended periods of time.
At each of Wingate’s 19 skilled nursing homes, our long term care staff provides 24-hour nursing and custodial care for senior residents and chronically ill residents. We offer rehabilitative, restorative, and ongoing skilled nursing care to residents who need assistance with daily tasks.
Our clinical care team, comprised of physicians, licensed nurses, certified nursing assistants and therapists, delivers quality healthcare in a warm, supportive environment. The staff collaborates on a personalized care plan appropriate for each senior resident, focusing on individual goals determined by the resident and the resident’s family.
