Welcome to Wingate at Silver Lake: The Residences II

At Wingate Healthcare, we are constantly expanding the programs and services we offer to our residents. The Cottages and The Residences II are two senior living developments underway. The proposed active adult community includes 55 independent living homes (The Cottages) and 60 supportive independent living apartments (The Residences II). The project will be constructed in three primary phases.

The first construction phase includes 40 Patio Homes and a Club House for The Cottages. The homes will be built in clusters of two, three, and four units. This product will emphasize maintenance-free senior living for active adults over the age of 55. The Club House will include assembly and wellness rooms, as well as outdoor patio space, and will provide a venue for amenities and services for use primarily by the Patio Homes’ residents. Construction of this first senior housing phase is scheduled to commence in spring 2010.

The second construction phase includes The Residences II, a three-story building consisting of 60 one and two bedroom independent living rental units. These units will be similar in concept to The Residences I but with greater square footage and enhanced detailing and finishes. The Residences II will provide common areas customarily provided in a supportive independent living facility, such as living rooms, a media room, a fitness center, and a multi-purpose room. A landscaped exterior courtyard looking towards Forge Pond will be a central focal point and social area for the building. Construction of this phase is scheduled to commence in 2010.

The third construction phase includes the 15 remaining Patio Homes, which will be constructed on land located across from the primary Wingate at Silver Lake campus. These independent living units will be designed and constructed to match the first phase’s 40 units.

While these are the current construction plans for our senior care additions at Wingate Healthcare, changes in design and amenities will be considered depending on the success of the earlier phases and the then anticipated market conditions.
