Many thanks to Wingate at Haverhill’s staff for my mother’s 100th Birthday Party. It was really a wonderful time. The cake and ice cream were delicious. The 100 balloons and beautiful roses were so very festive. My mother enjoyed every minute of the afternoon. Thank you once again for making her 100th a very memorable time.

Wingate’s staff is the greatest! It is truly people who care and serve those who are sick and hurting at a rehabilitation center who make the difference. I thank you for all that you did for me. You are very special people.

When we were told that Mom needed to be transferred to rehabilitation, we were referred to your facility by Diane Quigley’s father. From our first contact with Diane at Wingate, we knew that we had chosen the right facility for Mom. Diane was so wonderful to Mom and watched over her as if she were her own family. Our family review with Leslie Brebner at Wingate was informative but also very encouraging that Mom would be taken care of and served well during her stay. This being a new situation for our family, Leslie was caring and very willing to answer our many questions.
All of the nurses, aides and the Unit Manager, Dawn Brown, watched over Mom’s wants and needs with professionalism but also with the extra interest and care that was so important to her and to us. Our thanks also go to Penny and Ellie for their interest in our family. They were so helpful and always came into the room with a smile and a kind word.
Additionally, we want to thank Holly, the physical therapist who helped with Mom’s daily personal care. She remains one of the people that Mom still speaks of as helping her recover so quickly. Holly’s belief in her ability to get better and go back to her own home was amazing. She is a wonderful individual who not only knows physical therapy but also is a people person. This is certainly an important positive for her clients. We also had the pleasure of speaking with Kristie Meuse several times. Wingate is certainly lucky to have her as Director of Social Services. We had many questions when Mom was ready to go home, and Kristie was such a help gathering information for us and assisting us.
We would love to name everyone that had a hand in our mother’s rehabilitation from Vicki to the people who delivered meals. We don’t want to leave anyone out in our thanks and appreciation to Wingate for the treatment that Mom received. Not to be forgotten was Mom’s roommate. Sharon and Mom became fast friends, and it was a great pairing by Wingate to be able to see how well it would work out.
Haverhill is lucky to have Wingate Healthcare as a rehabilitation facility, and if we are ever asked, we certainly will give our best recommendation. Again, we thank each and every one at Wingate who had any part in taking care of our Mom. We are so grateful.
