As a husband and caregiver of my beloved wife, I would like to state my feelings about the healthcare she has experienced and continues to receive on the Ventilator Unit here at Wingate at Dutchess.
First and foremost, Wingate is clean and tidy with a very pleasant atmosphere. Upon entering the facility, it feels like you are walking into an upper-class hotel. The rooms are homey, and their quaint style offers a more pleasant experience for my wife as well as for the rest of the family.
Another point of paramount importance is the staff. From top to bottom, I have found them to be kind and courteous. They are open to any concerns that I or the family might have and are able to customize the care to fit the particular needs.
Wingate at Dutchess has surpassed all of my expectations in providing my wife with compassionate senior care. I would highly recommend the Wingate staff to care for your loved one.

We were pleasantly surprised when we first visited Wingate at Dutchess. It was not the picture one would imagine of a nursing home; it was bright, clean, well decorated and had lots of nooks and crannies where families could spend private time together.
