Nestled on the Scantic River, Wingate at Hampden (formerly known as Mary Lyon) is a skilled nursing facility with a home-like, country setting. Our facility is conveniently located near Hampden’s town center and is easily accessible from the surrounding towns of Springfield, Wilbraham, East Longmeadow, and Longmeadow.
Wingate at Hampden offers both long term care and post acute care. Alzheimer’s care is our specialty, as many of our tenured employees have specialized Alzheimer's care training. Our friendly, compassionate caregivers are dedicated to satisfying all senior residents' healthcare needs, and most family members of residents refer to our staff as their "Mary Lyon Family."
