Dave has been with Wingate Healthcare and its affiliates for 17 years, first focusing on multi-family residential facilities and now concentrating on healthcare. When acquiring new properties, his responsibility is to assess the immediate and long-term capital needs, assess the physical plant and housekeeping departments, develop a plan to make improvements, and maintain the property to meet Wingate's standards.
Overall, Mr. Feldman is responsible for the physical real estate (hard assets) for 20 facilities. He develops and implements comprehensive, standardized, preventive maintenance programs for all building systems and equipment throughout the portfolio, establishes and maintains aggressive capital expenditure programs to include all parts of our facilities and maintains aggressive grounds programs to enhance overall appearances. He also reviews utility consumption and aggressively seeks out new ways to limit utility expenses and establish short-term and long-term capital needs per facility. As a licensed construction supervisor, Mr. Feldman serves as the General Contractor for large capital expenditure projects and small to midsize renovations.
