Wingate Skilled Nursing Facilities

All Wingate locations include a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) on their campuses. Registered Nurses help provide 24-hour care to people who require assistance caring for themselves.  Typically this care includes Short Term Rehabilitation and is categorized as follows:

Skilled Medical Care includes services of trained professionals needed for a limited period of time following an injury or illness. 

Care after a major surgery, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy – all working together to help regain independent self-care. Skilled care may be required long-term.

Personal Care includes assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, getting around, and toileting (incontinence care).
